A committee studying the operations of Rockford's entertainment venues and organizations releases its findings. The Downtown Venues, Festivals, and Special Events Advisory Council will present its report to Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey and Winnebago County Board Chairman Scott Christiansen tomorrow morning. A news conference is planned for 10:30 at the former New American Theater building on North Main Street. The committee has been studying the operations of the Metro Centre, The Coronado Theater, On The Waterfront, and the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
